If Bart only did one thing right, that would be the way he raised Jaymz.
Jaymz is definitely cut from the same cloth as his dad. He is as old school as a kid can get. He learned early that hard work and dedication are the keys to success. He was not into video games…he was into riding his bike.
In his early years he could be found outside his house in the driveway racing a course he set up in the driveway outlined with chalk…. jumps included. In 2013, he raced his first road race at only 11. That day he became the New England Regional Time Trial Champion in the Jr. Men 10-12 yr. old category.
Every race he has done has been with A.P. Junior Development (formerly Bayhill Capitol). He has taken many podiums and more accomplishments than we can even think of. But noting comes close to the two opportunities he has had with Team USA racing in 2018 and 2019 in the Junior Tour of Ireland.
Jaymz gave 100%, 100% of the time. He gets the job done. When he cannot he dedicates himself to being a domestique for the rest of his team helping anyway possible. Like his dad, if your on his wheel, he will deliver to the line!
Jaymz works predominantly with juniors under our head coaches. He has also worked over the years with Best Buddies helping riders of all level reach the finish line in the Hyannisport Challenge.
