Two AP Junior Development Cycling Team / PROthirteen athletes made it to the podiums this past Sunday. This was round 1 of the New England High School Cycling Association (NEHSCA) 2021 race season at Winding Trails in Farmington Connecticut!

Tessa Avery just missed 2nd place (by 4 seconds!) to finish 3rd in the JS3 Girls group. Staggered starts made it a little difficult to tell what position you were in until crossing the finish line (thanks to timing chips).

In the Senior Series Boys Arron Roberts also took third after going down hard on the first lap. He was able to get up quick, assess any damage and refocus on himself and getting back to the front of the race. He finished only 27 seconds back from first and only 14 seconds from second!

James Falconeiri also raced to a fifth place in the Junior Series Varsity Boys division. He can taste a podium position in round 2!

Lastly shout out to Dylan Brody for his first place finish in the Junior Cat at Wells Ave!
